ARTIFACT: This is a 1930s collar insignia for the 3rd Regiment, California State Guard. The insignia shows the letters CAL inside the silhouette of a setting sun.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization teeth.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJL94 LDEX12/11

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The insignia has some moderate wear and tarnish a few small spots of oxidation.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
