ARTIFACT:

This is a 1930s collar insignia for the 3rd Regiment, California State Guard. The insignia shows the letters CAL inside the silhouette of a setting sun.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization teeth.

MARKINGS:

None.

7 (Very Fine): The insignia has some moderate wear and tarnish a few small spots of oxidation.
