ARTIFACT: This is a 1920s lapel pin for the Greater Beneficial Union (Deutscher Unterst-tzungs Bund), a German-American fraternal organization started in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1892. The pin is nicely enameled in blue and white and has a rather collegiate look to its design.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 1/2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing and one stabilization post.

MARKINGS: PITTSBURGH MNR & FN (?) CO. PITTSBURGH, PA. on backing.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fraternal collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX99 LDEX2/11

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Pin shows some light wear and tarnishing.
