ARTIFACT: This is a 1920s Egyptian Order of the Nile badge. The badge is in a beautiful starburst design and hangs from a crown icon, with a white five-pointed star and some Egyptian writing at center. The badge was established in 1915 as a prestigious award for those who had done service for the state.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: 3-3/16" height and 2-1/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver with blue and enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Brass loop attachment.

MARKINGS: N/A.
