Description
Wonderful 1920's -1930's hand painted Cookie Firkin in steel-banded wood, with pine body and lid and nice oaken bale. The word "COOKIES" is on the lid, lightly hand-carved/etched and then painted green, the steel bands also feature the same lush color, as does the lid's knob. The overall varnish color is warm, a beautiful piece.
