Description
This is a great circa 1920s or 1930s Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway (AT & SF RY) Superintendent of Fire Alarm & Telegraph badge. The Santa Fe line was charted in 1859 to join with the already existing Atchison & Topeka. This railway company became one of the largest in the United States. The beautiful badge is in gold fill and has a C.G. Braxmar of New York maker mark on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s-1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-9/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-filled.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
