This is a 1920s-1930s lapel wing from Roosevelt Field, New York, Lindbergh's departure site on his solo flight to Paris in 192The wing shows an R against a field of black at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s-1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1/4" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:L. G. BALFOUR CO. on backing.
