ARTIFACT: This is a hardcover copy of "War Service: A Memorial", a book Brown & Sharpe Manufacturing Company dedicated to their employees who died in service during World War I. Brown & Sharpe was a metal-working company that manufactured screw machines in Providence, Rhode Island.

VINTAGE: Published circa 1920.

SIZE: 95 pages; approximately 9-1/4" in height and 6-1/4" in width and 5/8" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embossed cloth-bound cover with paper inset, paper with cut edges, tissue paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a military book collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX04 LCEX5/13

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The book has some areas of discoloration to the cover and spine and some and wear/shallow grooves to the cover; there are some spots of minor staining on a few pages inside the book/ No rips or writing inside.
