This is a 1917 Liberty Loan Volunteer celluloid pin. The pin reads GET BEHIND THE GOVERNMENT along its border and shows the upper third of the Statue of Liberty at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1917.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid-wrapped tin.
ATTACHMENT:Straight pin.
MARKINGS:Hard-to-read union stamp (on reverse) and mark (on edge).
