Description
1916 Mexican Border United States Army ring in sterling with blue, white, and red enamel details. An increasing number of border incidents early in 1916 culminated in an invasion of American territory on March 8th, when Pancho Villa and his band of men raided New Mexico. Ring's center is enameled with red, white, and blue, 10 stars and readMEXICAN BORDER and is named to Cpl. C. Hardt. The inside is engraved with: C. Hardt Cpl. Bat. A. O.F.A. (Ohio (?) Field Artillery)
