ARTIFACT:

This is a football trophy from Brooklyn Preparatory School named to Ed Walsh and dated 191The trophy has a classic urn-like shape with two handles. A gold-filled coat-of-arms at center reads SANITAS SCIENTIA SANCTITAS.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1914.

SIZE:

Approximately 9-1/8" height and 6-9/16" width and 4-1/8"diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver-plated white metal; gold-filled detail.

MARKINGS:

DIEGES & CLUST MAKERS 2121.
