1900s-1910s Tenafly, New Jersey Borough Marshal (Pre-Police Dept.) Badge #106

This is a circa 1910s or 1920s Borough Marshal badge from Tenafly, New Jersey, dating to before the community had its Police Department. Right across the Hudson River form Yonkers, New York, Tenafly was incorporated in 189Fifty years later, famous resident bandleader (and Major) Glenn Miller died when his plane disappeared over the English Channel in December 194This badge is numbered 106.

Circa 1900s-1910s.

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

Plated brass.

Vertical kick pin with C catch.
