This is a circa 1890s "bobby" helmet badge numbered 10It is likely that the badge comes from the police department of a larger city since the numbers are on the larger side.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two l00ps.
