ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1890s (pre-Prohibition) barback bottle for Higgins Old Velvet rye whiskey. The bottle has a nice shape and a stately neck. It is in silver overlay on cut glass.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 4-3/4” in diameter and 7-3/4” in height.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Silver overlay on cut glass.

ATTACHMENT: None (stopper not present).

MARKINGS: None.
