1890s Confederate Veterans' Sleeve or Hat Button by Jacob Reeds Sons

This is a circa 1890s Virginia Confederate Veterans' sleeve or hat button. The button has the seal of the Commonwealth of Virginia at its center with the motto Sic Semper Tyrannis (Thus to all tyrants). It is marked Jacob Reeds Sons on reverse. This button, along with the other items listed for sale separately at the bottom of the page, all came to us from the same unknown Confederate veteran.
