ARTIFACT:

1880's Fort Wayne, Indiana Sanborn's Dray Coal and Wood wagon driver's hat badge. The stamped copper plated badge reads: "SANBORN'S DRAY COAL & WOOD" in nice detail. The reverse reads: "e;NORTHWESTERN STAMP WORKS ST. PAUL, MINN."e;

VINTAGE:

Circa 1880's.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-7/8" x 1-1/4".

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Stamped copper plated nickel.

ATTACHMENT:

Slot at each end for wear on Hat Band/Ribbon.
