ARTIFACT:

This is a 1880's - 1890's Portland, Maine Fire Department Badge #76 Won into Early 20th Century. This badge came with 1890's - 1910's Portland, Main Fire Department Engine 2 Hat Badge and 1938 Portland, Maine Fire Department Retirement Badge of Henry A. Chase Engin 2.

VINTAGE:

1880s - 1890s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in height x 1-7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel plated nickel, Nickel plated brass pin with painted letter.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety style pin with forked locking catch.
