Description
This is a 16th or 17th century Italian stiletto with exquisite details! The blade comes down to a fine point from three flat edges. The hilt is covered with a fine woven steel braid covering. The guard has a shield at center with two decorative arms bowing out to the sides, and a leather piece riveted underneath.
VINTAGE:Circa 16th or 17th century.
SIZE:Approximately 9-5/8" in length and 3-3/4" in width; blade only: approximately 5-11/16" in length and 3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Steel, woven steel braid, leather under guard.
ATTACHMENT:Rivets.
