This is a 10 karat gold pin for forty years of service to the Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company by Balfour. The pin reads NEWPORT NEWS SHIPBUILDING & DRY DOCK CO. 40 and shows the company's logo at center with a gear, trident and NN.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s-1960s.
SIZE:5/8" height and 7/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:10 karat gold with white and blue enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:LGB 10K.
