ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1900 milk can from Badger Farms Creameries of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Daniel Farms' first incarnation started in 1877 and was incorporated in 1927 by Kittery, Maine resident Charles Badger. The company sold milk, cream and ice cream locally into the 1960s. The "B" logo at top sure does look like the Boston Red Sox logo!

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: Approximately 14-1/2" in height and 7-3/4" in diameter at bottom.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted tin.

ATTACHMENT: Handle.

MARKINGS: PORTSMOUTH CREAMERY stamped twice; BADGER.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The can has light wear; light oxidation to bottom.
