This is a rare sterling silver 1943 United States Merchant Marine (unidentified) union “Torpedoed” lapel pin. The pin reads SMEA 1943 and shows a torpedo at center.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 5/16” in height and 3/4” in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with “C” catch.
