This is an early World War II United States Merchant Marine officer badge in sterling silver by A.E. Company. The badge shows a crest bearing an anchor at its center surrounded by the four points of the compass.
VINTAGE:
Circa early World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 15/16” in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Sterling silver, brass pin.
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
