ARTIFACT: This is a nice circa early 1943 United States Army Air Forces flight surgeon wing by Meyer. The wing is in gilt brass and has a caduceus at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II (early 1943).

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height by 3-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: Engraved MEYER shield maker mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. NABEX13 LDEJX5/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Most of the gilding to the front of the wing has been lost due to period polishing.
