ARTIFACT: This is a CBI-made multi-piece leather jacket patch made for the United States Army Air Forces 8th Airdrome Squadron. Activated November 26, 1943, the 8th was sent to Kwelin, China for service after training. The patch shows a mechanic with a figure eight for a body at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 4"e; in width; 4-1/2"e; height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Multi-piece leather with painted detail.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: None.
