ARTIFACT: This is a history of the United States Army Air Forces 456th Bomb Group, 15th Air Force in Italy. The history is in a calendar format, showing the month-by-month moves of the 456th during 1945. The reverse of each calendar page offers text: as an example, the back of the December page lists the twenty missions flown just during that month, predominantly over Germany and Austria. The first page is a photo of and letter from the Group's commander, Col. Thomas W. Steed.

VINTAGE: Published circa 1945.

SIZE: 26 pages; approximately 13-3/4" in height and 8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Construction paper cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Holes, twine.

MARKINGS: Published by the Public relations Section, under the supervision of Capt. W.W. McLaughlin, Jr.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The booklet has some light to medium wear/fading to the cover and one small spot of wrinkling and a small tear on first page.
