ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1947 United States Air Forces shirt-size pilot wing in sterling silver. The wing was made from a World War II wing has a crest at center which shows a winged missile with lightning bolts behind a rampart.

VINTAGE: Circa 1947.

SIZE: 2" wing.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under swivel catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAB/E97 LAAEX 4/10

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Wing has small areas of wear and tarnish.
