Rare Circa 1947 US AF Shirt-Size Sterling Pilot Wing Made from WWII Wing

This is a circa 1947 United States Air Forces shirt-size pilot wing in sterling silver. The wing was made from a World War II wing has a crest at center which shows a winged missile with lightning bolts behind a rampart.

2" wing.

Sterling silver.

Horizontal pin with come-under swivel catch.
