ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1944 Number IDed Heaquarters Z Force badge. The organization, dubbed the "Zebra Force." By United States advisors, was formed to train 30 Chinese Divisions in hopes of driving the steadily progressing army of the Japanese. The Z Force was the second push for a Thirty Division plan, coming after the Y Force, which the militaries took more precedence over the Z Force, which fell behind more prioritized Y force as time went on.

VINTAGE: Circa 1944

SIZE: Approximately 1" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Verticalal pin with over-under catch. Eagle is riveted to cog.

MARKINGS: "HZF. NO 499"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Chinese militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX16 LEGEX03/17

CONDITION: 9+ (Near Mint-): The colors are vibrant and there is very little chipping in the paint. The only wear of note is the tarnish around the pin.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
