ARTIFACT: This is a Rare 1950's - 1960's German Made Bevo Weave Patch for the 3333rd Labor Service Signal Battalion.

One Confind Reference online Starting the this patch is the 6980th Signal Labor Group, But that MAY be the Army that the 3333rd was Attached to.

The 3333rd Labor Service Signal Battalion was a U.S. Army signal unit in Vietnam, likely supporting the huge communication needs of the 1st Signal Brigade, which managed the complex tactical/strategic networks in Southeast Asia, using both military personnel and civilian contractors for massive projects like the Integrated Wideband Communications System (IWCS). While specific unit actions for the 3333rd aren't detailed in general overviews, they were part of the vast Signal Corps effort, responsible for crucial comms infrastructure, from switchboards to advanced systems, operating under the large 1st Signal Brigade umbrella.
