ARTIFACT: This is a nice, theatre-made jacket patch for the United States Army Air Forcse 96th Bomber Squadron, 2nd Bomber Group, 12th and 15th Air Force. The triangular patch shows a devil about to hurl a B-17 aircraft.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 5-1/4" in height and 6-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Hand-painted canvas with cotton backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): Patch shows moderate wear and has a fair amount of cracking.
