Late 1970s USAF 38th ARRS Aerospace Rescue & Recovery Sq Pocket Patch Made in Korea

ARTIFACT:
This is Late 1970’s US Air Forth 38th ARRS Aerospace Rescue & Recovery Squadron Pocket Patch Made in Korea. The 38th Rescue Squadron (38 RQS) is an active United States Air Force Pararescue squadron. Part of the 347th Rescue Group, 23rd Wing, it is stationed at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The squadron flew combat search and rescue missions during the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

VINTAGE: Late 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately: 4” in height x 2-5/8” in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS: Embroidered on twill and silk/cotton thread.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto Clothing.

MARKINGS: Non.
