ARTIFACT: Great vintage 1940's – 1950's Nichol Kola embossed and lithographed tin advertising sign. Named after the original owner, Harry R. Nicholson Sr., the taste featured a 'spicy kick'. The sign shows a soda bottle with a deco-style label that reads: "NICHOL KOLA 5¢" and just beneath "TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT.OFF 1936 H.R. NICHOLSON, CO." The neck label and bottle cap read also show Nichol Kola. The top of the sign reads: "DRINK" and along the bottom: "AMERICA'S TASTE SENSATION". A maker mark reads: "THE PARKER METAL DEC. CO. BALTO MD."

VINTAGE: Circa 1940's – 1950's

SIZE: Approximately 24" x 8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Lithographed, embossed tin sign

ATTACHMENT: Four holes for wall hanging.

MARKINGS: "A-127", "THE PARKER METAL DEC. CO. BALTO MD.", "TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF 1936 H.R. NICHOLSON, CO."

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The sign shows moderate to heavy surface wear and some light oxidation, overall great vintage look!
