ARTIFACT:
This is an Extremely Rare Circa 1952 Mohawk Airlines Pilot Wing Unmarked, but in Sterling by MACO Converted to Screwback.
One can see the earlier MACO made pieces by the engraved detailing between the “feathers” not present on later Balfour pieces.
VINTAGE: Circa 1952.
SIZE: Approximately 1" in height and 3-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS: Rhodium plated Sterling silver with Hard Fired multi-enamel, and Brass Posts with Nickel screwbacks.
ATTACHMENT: Two Posts with screw-backings.
MARKINGS: N/A.

The wing shows the minor wear and much of the enamel detail remains intact overall, it is in excellent condition.
