Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an extremely rare Indian Made USAAF 5 Language Blood Chit, MIS-X type DEB-10. There were 5000 of these were produced by the Lend-Lease operations in India for USAAF Air Crews flying over "The Hump." Finding on in this condition is extremely rare, and it has a nice visible low number of 01441.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1944.

SIZE:

About 10" in height x 11-1/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silk on cotton gauze mesh.

ATTACHMENT:

To be carried in flight clothing pocket.
