This is a hardcover copy of "e;Fighter: A History of Fighter Aircraft"e; by Bryan Cooper and John Batchelor. The book covers the evolution of fighter aircraft form World War I through the publication date (1973), for the United States, Britain, Germany and other countries. It has several period black and white photographs as well as very detailed color and black and white illustrations done by a technical artist. It was published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1973 and has its original dust jacket.
