ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1920s missionary fundraising contest pin between the "Reds" and the "Blues" from the Chicago, Illinois area. The pin is by the David C. Cook Publishing Company, a publisher of religious education materials in Elgin, Illinois. It reads R&B CONTEST WORK FOR THE REDS.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-7/8" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Painted tin.
