ARTIFACT: Beautiful WWI Imperial German Aviator's Commemorative or Memorial Frame in the silhouette of an Army Pilot Badge with Iron Cross 2nd Class Ribbon in ebony and ivory inlay. The frame comes with original WWI period Sanke Card #378 of German Ace Lieutenant Kurt Wintgens, who had 19 kills, was awarded the Pour Le Merite on 1 July 1916 and was shot down and killed on 25 September 1916. The autograph is not real, Sanke Card was printed with facsimile.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stained wood, brass, paper, ebony, ivory, rope, glass

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The frame shows minor wear, nearly all the ebony and ivory details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
