Scarce Late 1930s USAC Pilot Wing by A.E. Co. with Pre-War Hallmark
ARTIFACT: This is a scarce late 1930s United States Air Corps pilot wing in sterling silver by A.E. Company of Utica, New York. This wing has the company's pre-war hallmark on reverse.
VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s.
SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in height and 3-1/32" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS: A.E. CO. UTICA N.Y. (pre-WWII maker mark) and STERLING.
