ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful pair of circa 1920s or 1930s gauntlet gloves for a motorcyclist or an aviator. These substantial leather gloves are in a long length and are made by Walrath of (where else?) Gloversville, New York. There is a buckled strap with a snap bearing the manufacturer's name on each glove.
VINTAGE: Circa 1920s-1930s.
SIZE: Approximately 9-1/2" in width (along cuff) and 14-1/2" in length (each).
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Leather, metal hardware.
ATTACHMENT: Buckle, strap and snap on each.
MARKINGS: WALRATH on snaps.
