ARTIFACT:
This is a Fantastic Early 1950's Cuban Presidential Palace Secret Service Agent Badge. Antigua Vilardebo y Riera was a large world-renowned Goldsmith's House in Cuba , where almost all Cuban Decorations of the Republican era were manufactured , until 1960.
VINTAGE:
Circa early 1950's.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-7/8" in height x 1-7/16" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Nickel plated brass, enamel, sterling or coin silver
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:
"ANTIGUA VILARDEBO Y RIERA" (Maker Mark) "HECHO en CUBA" (Made in Cuba).
