ARTIFACT:

This is a Late 1960’s Vietnam War Nam Made 158th Aviation BN (Assault Helicoptor BN) Pocket Patch.

An Assault Helicopter Battalion (AHB/Asslt Hel BN) is a key tactical unit within US Army Combat Aviation Brigades (CABs), primarily equipped with UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. They provide air assault, air movement, and transport support, conducting tactical operations such as troop insertion, logistics, and evacuation.

VINTAGE: Vietnam War Late 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately: 4-1/4” in height x 2-1/2” in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS: Twill embroidered cotton/polyester threads, muslin backing.
