ARTIFACT: This is a World War II era badge for an unidentified airline, most likely a British one due to its Birmingham-based maker (Fattorini). The badge shows a tiger's head emblazoned on a wing and reads S.A.L. There is also a plain bar that would have shown an employee number or name.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 1" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with "C' catch.

MARKINGS: THOMAS FATTORINI LTD. REGENT ST. BIRMINGHAM.
