ARTIFACT: This is a Attic Fresh! 118th Inf. Battle of the Bulge Cammo Double Decal Luft Helmet with Letters. The Battle of the Bulge, also known as the Ardennes Counteroffensive, was the last major German offensive campaign on the Western Front during World War II, and took place from 16 December 1944 to 25 January 1945.
VINTAGE: Circa World War II.
SIZE: Approximately 10-3/4" in length, 9" in width and about 6" in height.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted steel, leather liner.
ATTACHMENT: Two buckles for strap (broken strap attatched), leather, string inside liner.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The helmet shows moderate to heavy wear, the leather chin strap has stiffened and half-left on helmet, some of the painted decals remain intact and personal letters and paper's shows history, overall helmet is very fine condition.
