8/4/08 Portsmouth, NH

Well, I am finally back home for a month after driving to New Jersey for a surprise visit to the July Meadowlands Show in Union and a VERY long drive to Louisville, Kentucky for the Police Collectors National Show in that fair city, and I am glad to be home. Sweltering weather, surprising traffic (for $4.00 @ gallon gas), and mediocre summer show turn-outs have once again shown me the error of my ways and I will sit all but the best and closest shows out in the near future.

The Meadowlands Militaria Show was well attended but there was not much new to see there. The Police National was a well-done show, but Louisville in the summer heat just may not have been the best planned location!.

On the home front I am pleased to announce that I finally have not one but two assistants working with me getting things back in order here. Kenzie is working hard at adding listings to the web site, look for new items to be listed daily on Mondays, and sometimes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well. Amy is working hard at organizing, researching and, soon, shipping (when we get ebay listings up again).

Looking forward to enjoying the rest of summer in New England here in Portsmouth for a while before shipping off to the ASMIC national in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky (read: Cincinnati). Hope to see you all at the next big Show!
