ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1980s pilot wing for the Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS). The wing is a wreathed golden eagle, and it has a backing plate. SAS is now known as Scandinavian Airlines.

VINTAGE: Circa 1980s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 3-1/2" in width (not including backing plate).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with flower-shaped disc backing, backing plate.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJM12 LAGEX8/13 SAGEX4/14

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The wing shows only some very light wear.
