ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful pre-Prohibition era sign advertising the ales and "Portsburger Lager" of the Frank Jones Brewing Company of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The sign is in red, white and blue enameled steel and has a great anchor graphic at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: Approximately 16-7/8" in width and 22" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled steel.

ATTACHMENT: Holes.

MARKINGS: INC-RICH BEAVER FALLS PA; some pencil handwriting on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a breweriana and spirits collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJJX13 LABGEX6/13 SABGEX3/14

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The sign has some small areas of moderate to heavy wear to the enamel, mostly just along the edge.
