SUBJECT:
This is a 1920s lapel pin for the Children of the American Revolution, a society begun in 1895 for young descendants of veterans of the American Revolution. The badge is circular and shows an eagle at center clutching an American flag in its talons.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1920s.
SIZE:
13/16” diameter.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Sterling silver with red, white and blue enamel.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with drop-in swivel catch.
MARKINGS:
69997 and JEC & Co. STERLING on reverse.
