ARTIFACT:
This is a 1948 edition of the Masonic Official Cipher revised in 1959 (4th edition). The book is bound in a folder with a fold-over flap and has the original owner's name embossed on the flap: Mark H. Bradbury, who belonged to the St. John's Lodge No. 51 in South Berwick, Maine. The pocket-sized book contains secret symbols and code used by the Masons.
VINTAGE:
1948 edition (revised 1959).
SIZE:
184 pages; approximately 5-1/4" in height and 3-3/4" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Leatherette cover; paper.

Glued binding.
