ARTIFACT: Beautiful, uncut scarce Viet Nam War Bevo weave "CHINA BOY" C-3 MIKE Force III Corps patch. The patch is a black shield with a white skull and crossbones in the center with the letters: "M. F." beneath. The MIKE Force Command was part of the US Army Special Forces during the Viet Nam War. Led by American and Australian forces, the MIKE Force soldiers were often Chinese Nung Tribesman chosen for their anti-communist sentiment and loyalty to one another. The MIKE Forces were engaged in air strikes, intelligence gathering, search and destroy missions, and recapturing and securing Civilian Irregular Defense Group (CIDG) A Camps. The MIKE Forces were named after LTC Miguel de la Pena, Pena was the US Army Special Forces Officer in command of the III Corps Tactical Zone, his codename was 'Mike'.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The patch shows minor wear, there is an old piece of masking tape is affixed to the back from the original collection these were a part of, overall excellent condition.
