This is a rare and beautiful French World War I Type I Air Corps badge numbered 2971 on reverse. The badge is a ring framing a propeller with one spread wing.

Circa World War I.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-3/4” in height and 1-13/16” in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:
Two loops.
