SUBJECT:
This is a circa 1900 commodore’s boat tea cup and saucer set from the New York Yacht Club, which was established in 1844. The cup shows two intertwined flags, and both the cup and saucer have a blue and gilt bordered rim.

Circa 1900.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-3/8” in height and 4-1/2” diameter (saucer).
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
China.
ATTACHMENT:
Cup handle.
MARKINGS:
PAREEK JOHNSON BROS ENGLAND with maker’s mark (on saucer); JOHNSON BROS ENGLAND embossed on bottom of cup.
