Rare NASA Kennedy Space Center APOLLO 13 Launching Special Viewing Pass #2283. Unnamed, but most likely presented to Cleveland Newspaper Reporter Joseph Sikosky as it came with his APOLLO Soyuz Pass (see link below). The front of the pass is a picture of golden stallions racing through space above the Earths orbit with the sun and moon in the background, reading: APOLLO XIII EX LUNA, SCIENTIA and across the top of the pass it reads: KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, NASA. The reverse of the pass reads: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration cordially welcomes you to the launch of Apollo 13. (Signed) Kurt H. Debus, Director Kennedy Space Center, NASA. This credential is issued to the bearer for his sole, exclusive, personal use, and is not transferable. After launch, it may be kept as a souvenir of the mission. The pass is #d 2283.
